Andre Borell has conceded that his Master Electricians / simPRO Racing Mygale is now not realistically in with a shot at the 2010 Genuine Ford Parts Formula Ford Championship. Round 3 at Winton Motor Raceway at the weekend was a full-blown disaster for him and his Evans Motorsport team, with Borell not scoring a single point over the entire weekend. Borell- ever the optimist doesn’t see this as all negative and is looking forward to Round 4 at Darwin’s Hidden Valley Raceway in 4 weeks. (more…)

Andre Borell has put his Master Electricians / simPRO Racing Mygale firmly in contention for the 2010 Genuine Ford Parts Forumla Ford Championship, after round 2 at Queensland Raceway on May 1st and 2nd. Borell finished the weekend equal 5th, and was happy to take two Top-5 finished on Sunday after a solid 6th in Race 1 on Saturday.

The season opening race of the Genuine Ford Parts Australian Formula Ford Championship, held at the Melbourne Formula 1TM Grand Prix, may still be over two months away – but for Andre Borell and simPRO Master Electricians Racing, the preparations are well and truly underway.
With Evans Motorsport running his #87 entry for season 2010, and a brand new Mygale just off the boat from France, Andre has taken the ‘off season’ as an opportunity to work on his fitness. There were no Beers or Christmas puddings to be had over the break at the Borell household: (more…)
NECA WA Golf Day

The annual NECA WA Golf Day was held on Friday the 5th of December on one of the first seriously hot Perth summer days. The day, which is always a popular and well attended event on the NECA calendar was held at the Burswood Park Golf Course, located on the East Perth foreshore overlooking the city – a fantastic setting for some pretty competitive golf.
After a quick lunch and a few confidence building pre-game drinks it was time to tee-off. The day was played Ambrose style to a field of 130 players, some more experienced than others and certainly some more concerned about where the beers where?!
